- Master of Arts in Islamic Education
- Bachelors of Arts in Shariah (Islamic Law) – Islamic University of Madinah
- Ijāzāh in Qur’an in Riwayah Hafs (A mode of recitation) – obtained from Shaykh Abdul Muhsin Al-Qasim, Imam and Khateeb of Masjidun Nabawi, and from Shaykh ‘Abdullah ibn Salih Al-‘Ubayd
- Ijāzāt in over 20 books, permission to teach & memorised over 15 – exclusive permission to teach by Shaykh Abdul Muhsin Al-Qasim and Shaykh Haytham Sarhaan
- Currently pursuing Ijāzāh in other modes of recitation of the Qur’an
About the Instructor:
An Islamic educator, speaker and lecturer, with experience and creative methods of teaching in different Islamic disciplines. Having academic and soft skills in pedagogy and andragogy, with great passion for teaching, organising curricula, ability to lesson plan, expertise in teaching classical Arabic language, and academic research and writing at higher education level. A community leader and aspiring scholar who ensures that lifelong learning is embedded in students, to facilitate them in reaching their highest potential. Communicating and collaborating with renowned scholars, in order to revive the passion for learning and educating Muslims in the west, using social media platforms to propagate the Tawheed of Allah.
About the College:
Inkpot College is currently an online platform that specialises in providing students in the West the opportunity of studying a high standard of Islamic Knowledge through a systematic programme, which has been approved by scholars. The main focus of the college is the “From the Inkpot to the Grave” Syllabus which has been designed to cater for the cognitive development of the student, thus the syllabus is based upon the guidance and advice of scholars. The syllabus is free of charge, and lessons are uploaded onto YouTube in order to facilitate all students across the globe, thereby making the college all-inclusive and easily accessible. Additionally, there are many complementary courses which aim to develop the student in a more holistic manner, by providing the opportunity to study directly from the scholars; and by also providing the opportunity to study the Arabic language via the curriculum taught at the Islamic University of Al-Madīnah. Our objective is to nurture aspiring students of knowledge who benefit from their knowledge by acting upon it, and also giving back to the community, both Muslims and non-Muslims.
The college is dedicated to revive the rich scholarship that is part of Islamic heritage, determined to provide high quality, bespoke courses. The ethos of the college is to stick to the methodology of classical ways of seeking knowledge and transferring them to the 21st century, hence producing all-rounded students. The college is unique in the aspect of providing high-level students with ijazah in scholarly texts upon thorough study and memorisation.
